Course Description

Enterprise analytics teams in 2025 and 2026 face two pressures at once: they must deliver faster and they must prove data quality, security, and traceability across the full analytics chain. Microsoft Fabric matters because it brings ingestion, engineering, warehousing, semantic modeling, and visualization into one SaaS environment. That matters for organizations that need fewer handoffs, tighter governance, and clearer ownership of analytics assets. For professionals moving beyond isolated Power BI reporting, DP-600 marks the shift toward enterprise-scale solution design.

During the course, participants build analytics assets step by step. They ingest data with Dataflows Gen2, Spark, and Fabric notebooks. They orchestrate movement and transformation with Data Factory pipelines. They create and structure lakehouses, apply medallion architecture, work with Delta tables, and load relational warehouses for SQL-based analytics. They then connect these assets to semantic models in Power BI, define relationships, improve performance, and apply security controls. Exercises and case work force participants to choose the right Fabric component for each delivery scenario instead of memorizing feature lists.

The training addresses problems that many vendor courses leave vague. Participants work through documentation gaps between ingestion, storage, and reporting layers. They clarify accountability when data engineers, analysts, and BI owners share the same platform. They test evidence quality by checking whether transformations, model relationships, and security rules stand up to review. They also practice cross-functional communication so technical decisions remain defensible to platform owners, managers, and audit stakeholders.

By the end, participants can design a Fabric-based analytics architecture, build core assets, secure and optimize semantic models, and justify technical choices against enterprise requirements. They leave ready to sit the DP-600 exam and to produce delivery outputs that teams can review, operate, and scale. That includes pipelines, notebooks, lakehouse structures, warehouse objects, semantic models, and performance and security decisions that hold up in production.

    • Design a Microsoft Fabric analytics architecture for enterprise reporting needs
    • Build ingestion workflows with Dataflows Gen2, notebooks, and pipelines
    • Structure lakehouses with Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers
    • Implement relational warehouses and query them with T-SQL
    • Create semantic models with scalable relationships and storage choices
    • Enforce row-level and object-level security in Power BI
    • Optimize model and query performance with diagnostic tools

Professional Testimonials

Had a great experience learning with Abilene Academy, it has been an extremely long time since I have attended an external formal training outside of the business organization I work in. I found this training to be truly beneficial for me to attend. the overall delivery of the course by Henri was superb, he kept us well engage despite having half of the room online and half face to face. The communication from the advisors from the initial enquiry regrading the course up until now has also been great! definitely recommending to my colleagues. Thank you!
