Yes. PECB certifications are accredited under ISO/IEC 17024 — the global standard for personnel certification bodies — and are recognised by employers, regulators, and procurement teams across 150+ countries. In Switzerland, PECB certifications are recognised by FINMA-regulated institutions and by EU organisations requiring supply chain compliance evidence under NIS2.
PECB Certified Training
The global standard for ISO and GRC professional certifications—delivered by active practitioners.
What is PECB?
PECB develops and delivers professional certification programs aligned with ISO standards and international best practices. Their portfolio covers information security (ISO 27001), AI governance (ISO 42001), risk management (ISO 31000), business continuity (ISO 22301), cybersecurity, GRC, and 160+ other certification tracks.
PECB accredits training providers through a tiered partner program. Partners are evaluated on delivery volume, exam pass rates, trainer credentials, and training quality. The tiers—Authorized, Gold, Platinum, and Titanium— reflect cumulative performance across all these dimensions.
Titanium is the highest tier of PECB awards globally. It is not a status that can be purchased or negotiated; it is earned through sustained delivery excellence and verified by PECB directly. Abilene Academy is the only organization in Switzerland that holds Titanium status.
Why PECB certification matters
PECB (Professional Evaluation and Certification Board) is the world's leading certification body for ISO management system standards. Over 100,000 professionals across 150+ countries hold PECB certifications in information security, AI governance, risk management, and GRC.
Unlike generic training certificates, PECB credentials are globally recognized by regulators, employers, and certification auditors. When a hiring manager, procurement team, or regulatory body sees a PECB certification, they know exactly what standard was tested, what curriculum was delivered, and what exam was passed. There is no ambiguity.
PECB certifications are accredited at the international level and aligned with ISO/IEC 17024, the global standard for personnel certification bodies. This means your credential is recognized whether you work in Switzerland, the EU, the Middle East, or North America.
Train with practitioners. Pass with confidence.
Abilene Academy is the only PECB Titanium Partner in Switzerland — the highest accreditation tier in the industry — delivering certified training in information security, data protection, AI governance, and GRC compliance. 99% exam pass rate. 2,500+ professionals trained across 120+ countries and trusted by 600+ organizations. Why train with a Titanium Partner
Most training providers who offer PECB courses are Authorized or Gold partners. A small number reach Platinum. Only Abilene Academy has reached Titanium in Switzerland, and the difference is not cosmetic.
Titanium partners have delivered more certified PECB courses, produced higher exam pass rates, and demonstrated greater consistency in training quality than any lower-tier provider. PECB's own verification process underpins the designation. When you train with a Titanium partner, you are training with the benchmark against which other providers are measured.
Our trainers are not generalists who rotate across topics;they are seasoned professionals with decades of real-world experience.
Henri Haenni brings over 30 years of expertise in governance, risk, compliance, and information security, along with a background as a lecturer at Sorbonne Paris 1.
Alexis Hirschhorn has successfully completed 43 ISO 27001 implementations and over 200 audits. He holds top industry certifications, including CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, ISO 42001 LI, and CAIP, and lectures at the University of Geneva.
Together with our wider team, we take pride in offering trainers who are active practitioners, facing real challenges, staying current, and applying their knowledge daily. This isn’t theory; it’s lived experience. They know what the exam tests because they’ve been in the rooms where real implementations take place.
How PECB exams work
Every PECB certification program includes a written exam, typically administered on the final day of instructor-led training. Exams are closed-book and run for approximately 3 hours. They test practical application of the standard, not memorization of clause numbers.
The exam format varies slightly by certification level. Foundation exams use multiple-choice questions. The Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor exams include scenario-based questions that require candidates to apply the standard to real-world situations. This is by design; PECB certifications are intended to validate operational competence, not classroom recall.
Exam results are issued within 2–4 weeks of sitting. Candidates who do not pass on the first attempt receive detailed feedback and are eligible to retake. Abilene Academy's 99% first-attempt pass rate reflects the depth of exam preparation embedded throughout every course, not a simplified curriculum designed to make passing easier.
All PECB exams can be taken in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and more. Abilene Academy delivers training in multiple languages, and candidates sit the exam in the language they trained in.

Titanium is the highest accreditation tier in PECB's partner program, above Authorized, Gold, and Platinum. It is awarded based on verified delivery volume, exam pass rates, trainer credentials, and training quality — not purchased or self-declared. Abilene Academy is the only PECB Titanium Partner in Switzerland.
PECB training and exams are available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and many more languages. Abilene Academy delivers courses in English, French, and Spanish as standard. Additional languages are available on demand — just let us know when registering and we will make sure you are supported in the language that works best for you.
