Information Security
ISO 27001 Lead Implementer
ISO/IEC 27001 certification is no longer a differentiator but a baseline expectation. This training prepares professionals to implement and manage an Information Security Management System that actually works in operational environments. At Abilene Academy, the ISO 27001 Lead Implementer course is grounded in real implementation experience: defining scope, structuring governance, selecting controls, managing risks, and preparing for certification audits. Participants work through realistic scenarios drawn from consulting engagements and learn how to translate ISO/IEC 27001 requirements into concrete, auditable mechanisms. This course is designed for professionals who are accountable for results, not documentation alone.

Information Security
ISO 27001 Lead Auditor
This ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor training prepares experienced professionals to conduct and lead ISMS audits that stand up to regulatory, contractual, and certification scrutiny. The course focuses on audit execution, evidence evaluation, and decision-making under real-world constraints. Participants work through full audit scenarios aligned with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021-1, learning how to assess not only conformity, but operational effectiveness. This training is designed for auditors, consultants, and security professionals who must issue defensible audit conclusions, manage audit teams, and interact credibly with certification bodies and senior management.

Business Continuity & Crisis Management
ISO 22301 Lead Implementer
This intensive 4-day training prepares participants to implement and manage a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) compliant with ISO 22301:2019. It covers planning, deployment, monitoring, updates, and continual improvement, with a focus on context analysis, business impact analysis, risk assessment, continuity strategies, and response planning. Participants learn to interpret ISO 22301 requirements within a specific organizational context and to guide stakeholders through certification audit preparation. The program combines structured instruction, a full case study, hands-on exercises, and preparation for the online PECB exam.

Business Continuity & Crisis Management
Lead Crisis Manager
The 4-day Lead Crisis Manager (LCM) training prepares you to guide an organization in planning, establishing, maintaining, and continually improving a strategic crisis management capability based on ISO 22361:2022 and related good practices. The course covers the concepts, principles, and components of a crisis management framework (leadership, structure, culture, competence), as well as prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery. Learning alternates between theory, a full case study, role plays, and scenario-based questionnaires. The PECB exam is online, in English or French.

Governance, risk & compliance
ISO 31000 Risk Manager
This course translates ISO 31000:2018 from abstract guidance into an operational risk management system that works in practice. Participants learn how to design, implement, and sustain a risk management framework aligned with organizational objectives, governance structures, and decision-making realities. The focus is on applying ISO 31000 in complex, real-world environments where risk ownership, prioritization, and treatment must be defensible and actionable. This training is designed for professionals who already influence decisions and need a structured, standards-based way to manage uncertainty and protect value.

Information Security
ISO 27005 Risk Manager
This training is designed for professionals who must structure, operate, and defend an information security risk management process aligned with ISO/IEC 27005:2022. Participants work through the full risk lifecycle, from context definition to treatment decisions and executive reporting. Unlike generic risk courses, this program focuses on operational decision making, traceability, and alignment with ISO/IEC 27001 requirements. It is particularly valuable for practitioners who need to justify risk choices to auditors, regulators, and senior management while integrating multiple risk assessment methods used in Europe and internationally.
