Who should attend the ISO/IEC 27701 Transition training?

The ISO/IEC 27701 Transition training is intended for professionals already responsible for implementing, maintaining, or auditing a PIMS based on ISO/IEC 27701:2019.

This training is designed for professionals who already operate or maintain a Privacy Information Management System and need to transition it to ISO/IEC 27701:2025. It is not an introductory course.

Typical participants include privacy managers, DPOs, compliance officers, security managers, PIMS owners, consultants, and internal auditors involved in privacy governance.

In the 2024–2025 audit landscape, organizations must demonstrate structured transition management rather than informal updates. This training provides the framework needed to manage that transition coherently.

Participants use the training to prepare transition audits, update documentation, and ensure continuity of privacy governance.

Expert Insight

In our experience, transitions fail when teams do not fully understand their existing PIMS. Participants who know their system well benefit most from this course.

“This course only delivers value if you already have a PIMS in place.”
