This ISO 50001 Lead Implementer course is designed to build practical implementation capability for an Energy Management System (EnMS) aligned with ISO 50001:2018.Across four days, the program covers initiation, planning, implementation, monitoring, and continual improvement. You work through how to interpret ISO 50001 requirements in an organizational context and how to translate them into an implementation approach that can be managed and maintained over time.The course also emphasizes EnMS best practices. That includes establishing an EnMS scope, defining an energy policy and planning approach, setting responsibilities, building competence and awareness plans, and defining documentation and controls. Operational topics include operations management and procurement, paired with performance evaluation practices such as monitoring, measurement, analysis, and evaluation.Certification readiness is addressed explicitly. You cover internal audit, management review, treatment of nonconformities, and preparation for the certification audit. Exam preparation is integrated through review exercises and a practice test similar to the certification exam.The certification exam is available online in English and is stated as three hours in duration, with exam fees included for this course.
