The ISO 22301 Foundation exam is designed to verify understanding of the fundamental principles and requirements of the Business Continuity Management System. It is based on the certification programme defined by PECB.
The domains assessed cover the key concepts of business continuity as well as the structure and operation of the BCMS. The aim is to confirm that the candidate has command of the vocabulary, objectives, and mechanisms of ISO 22301.
The exam is available online, giving candidates organisational flexibility, and is offered in several languages, widening access to certification.
The Foundation course includes preparation exercises and a mock exam. These help participants become familiar with the exam format and gauge their level of readiness.
